Wrapping text around a Graphic or Picture?

Hello folks:

I know there is a way to do this.

If I place a graphic or picture of something on my artboard then I want to type something on the artboard but I want it to surround the graphic or picture, then how do I do this in illustrator?

You could try the Effect 3D (Classic) > Revolve (Classic)...

Make a Symbol of your text and use it to map on a revolved object with invisible geometry.

When expanded ungroup the result and bring parts in front of your graphic/picture.

In that case, select the object to be surrounded, go to Object menu > Text Wrap > Make. Place the object in front of the text that is to do the surrounding. You will probably need to go to Object menu > Text Wrap > Text Wrap Options to turn off the Invert Wrap function and/or adjust the Offset value.

Hi, Ton! Sooner or later, one of us is bound to get around to it.
