Writing in a specific direction

Hi everyone.

I'm new to illustrator, and I wanted to design a logo for me and my friends.

I took the Manchester United logo and removed the words from it using Photoshop.

I'm struggling using illustrator to write in the specific angle as the original words were written.

Any suggestion or a good video explaining how to do it?

I'm sure you don't want to get in trouble. So you better not use that logo as a base for your own.

That said: this looks like text on a path might help.

Oh it's not for a commercial use.. It's only for a Whatsapp group photo, and also to improve my skills.

Here are a few help docs from adobe site.

First you would need to use your pen tool to draw a curvy path or line. See link below;

Next, you would need to type text by using your "Type on a Path" tool. This can be found in your tool palette by clicking and holding on the "T" icon, a fly-out menu will appear with various type tools.
