I downloaded the Adobe Illustrator app for my iPad, it worked for 2 days. After that every time I click the app, it opens up for .2 seconds and then crashes immediately and doesn't let me open or use the app at all. I have reinstalled the app numerous times, each time it opens up to the log in page just fine, then the second I type in my log in information and it realizes it's me, it shuts down immediately and continues to not let me even open it. I check for updates every day this past week, and nothing. It works perfectly fine on my laptop. I have no idea where to go from here.
We have the sa,e problem. There is m existing thread here with other people encountering the same issue. I hope someone from Adobe can help us.

I am a high school teacher with about 85 students using Illustrator on the iPad. About 10 of my students are having the same problem. Hoping you provide an update with a fix ASAP! Remote learning without this app is making it very difficult for my students. They are very frustrated.
I'm in the same situation, I have kids at home on their home devices and 17 with iPads. So frustrating and I cannot give them any guidance.

I have the same problem. Using Ipad 2020, latest IOS, using an apple pencil. Illustrator quits after start. I can see it in the active applications though but when i tap on it it disappear. Below the crashlog

We have released an update recently (1.0.3) with stability and bug fixes. Please update the app from the App Store and check if that helps.
Still doesn't work. Still crashes after reimstalling the latest update.
I have the same problem. iPad Pro 2018, iOS 14.1, and Illustrator 1.0.3. I can open it and log in just fine, but after that if I close the app I can never use it again unless I install again. It keeps crashing. HELP NEEDED I really want to start using it 😞
@Anaissa Ruiz and @DarthLord, have you uninstalled the previous version of AI? I found that worked for me. And, if you were a beta tester, be sure you are not opening up one of the old beta versions. I worked on the latest updated version last night for about 4 hours. It did crash on me a few times but I was able to get right back in and pickup right where I left off.
Yes I deleted the old version then went to the App Store to download the latest version. Still doesn't work. I wonder if these guys from Apple are testing their releases. I'm thinking of cancelling my subscription because this is very much useless.
I am only seeing the 1.0.0 version available on the app store. Where is the 1.0.3 version?

Adobe really needs to address this as this has been going on since the app was released in October.
I'd love to hear from others about what version is actually installed on their iPad. After installing what appears to be 1.0.3, it's actually showing 1.0.0 when I check "About" inside Illustrator (Go to your profile pic in the upper right-hand corner to get there). I have several students that have to keep deleting the app and then reinstalling it to get it to work. If they switch to other apps, it crashes.
Can't get to that screen, my app quits just after it starts. It worked from months, then, suddenly does that. It's frustrating since I have works to deliver.
