Thank you for providing the requested information and sharing the logs. I appreciate your cooperation.
To address the issue you're facing, I recommend turning off the "Show Effects when using Pencil" option in iPad settings. Here's how you can do it:
Once you've done this, try using Adobe Illustrator again to see if the issue persists. If you encounter any further problems or have additional questions, please feel free to let me know.

No such setting on the Apple Pencil called "Show Effecs when using Pencil".
My AI crashes the moment I move my cursor (by finger or pencil) over any of the tools or layers. It's immediate. It's causing me great problems with my projects and clients.
Please help!!

Hola @Alishashabnam
¡Saludos!

I also have a crash issue on iPad Pro 5th gen. In my case, illustrator will crash immediately if:
A project is open.
iPad is connected to a Magic Keyboard.
Trackpad curser is moved over any button on the toolbar.
This instantly crashes the app every time. Only solution is to make sure to never touch the trackpad whilst using illustrator.
In addition, despite having the latest iPad OS version I do not have the option "Show Effects when using pencil" in Settings > Apple Pencil. It simply isn't there.
It's quite disappointing (but no longer surprising) that Adobe don't acknowledge an obvious bug, but instead simply ask customers to use a work-around by turning off iPad features. Why don't we see a 'good catch, that's clearly a bug and we'll fix it in the next update' response?

Because this is the support forum. In Uservoice, once they have figured out what's causing the issues they will tell you what it is. In here there are 95% people not staff. Once someone has figured out how to make the issue stop, we will tell you that.

Update Adobe Illustrator: Ensure that you have the latest version of Adobe Illustrator installed on your iPad. As of now, version 3.0.6 is the latest release. You can update the app through the App Store.
Update iPadOS: Ensure that your iPad is running the latest version of iPadOS. As of now, iPadOS 17.2 is the latest release.
Performing these updates should help resolve the reported issues with Illustrator on iPad. If you continue to experience problems after updating, please let me know.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or encounter additional issues, feel free to ask.
