Hello,
I have an Adobe ID for Business account which allows me to access all applications on my laptop without any problem.
I would like to draw on my iPad (with the "mobile" apps), but when I connect to the apps (Fresco or illustrator or photoshop) with my Adobe ID, I get the following error message: "Access required - This account does not have access to a sync storage location. Use another account."
Do you know if it's normal not to be able to access apps without storage space?
Thank you in advance for your help !
It's a personal subscription with the 100GB plan and 40ish GBs of free space. All other apps have no issues. I ended up deleting the app and reinstalling it on my ipad. It works now.
Hi @Aliette baba,
Thanks for your patience. I checked with the Enterprise team, and they confirmed that in order to run mobile apps, creative cloud storage is required. Under your current entitlement, there is no Creative Cloud storage.
Your organization has purchased a custom plan with zero creative cloud storage. Only the IT admin or whomever in your organization has purchased the plan will need to contact our Enterprise support (https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/support-for-enterprise.html

I'm in South Africa. I have an Adobe Illustrator subscription which includes the Adobe Illustrator for iPad access. I am not able to login to Adobe Illustrator for iPad. I get a message saying "This account does not have access to a sync storage location. Please use a different login." If I create a new login, I am prompted to subscribe for a further $10USD a month. I can't really afford to pay for another subscription.

Hello,
I have now managed to gain access.
1. I made sure I had CC downloaded and logged into my account on my desktop.
2. I removed Ai for iPad from my iPad
3. Sent a link from CC to my email
4. Logged into CC on iPad using email link
Hope this helps someone.
Thanks

Hi Melissa!
By removing, you mean uninstall the Ai from my iPad? Do I need to re-install the App?

Hi @BOAhan,
Thanks for reaching out. This issue has been resolved for users by updating iPad OS to the latest v16.2, reinstalling the app from the App Store, and logging through the correct option such as "Login to get started: Continue with Adobe ID/ Apple/ Google/ Facebook."
First, try using a different method; in your case, it can be "Continue with Adobe ID or Apple."
If this doesn't work, try updating the iPad to the latest version of iPadOS.
If this doesn't work either, login to the assets website and check all your files are there, as reinstalling the app from App Store can lead to data loss.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Anshul Saini

Hello Monika,
Thanks for your answer.
This statement : "* The login is associated with an enterprise account that does not use Creative Cloud for its storage." can reflect the problem I'm facing.
I contacted my company's IT admin, and they're working on it but for the moment they don't have any clear explanation.
If you have other explanation or advice I'll be glad to hear them so that we can move forward.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Anshul, thanks for your answer.
It indeed clarifies the situation even if it doesn't solve it for now aha. I'll go back to the IT admin then, hoping they can easily purchase creative cloud storage ..
Thanks again!

How is the file storage in your account set up?
The error says that there is no storage associated with it. This might happen when it's a company account and IT has set the storage to not be Creative Cloud.

I'm on an iPad trying to access my Creative Cloud files through illustrator. My first desperate search on this forum mentioned accounts in china, which got me thinking of IP addresses. I tested this, and it worked for me!
However, afterwards I deleted the app, turned Private Relay back on, reinstalled the app, and tried again, and it worked, so while this solution works, I recommend the delete and reinstall solution provided by @Nicoya24 above as a better long-term solution. 🙂
tl;dr: Delete and reinstall.
