Hi. Is it possible to anchor an object within text in a text frame in Illustrator? In other words, when the text reflows, the object would move along with the text.

This is for CS4. Thanks.

Rolling eyes. . . . Nothing new for decades.

Adobe Users have been requesting Illustrator engineers to have Anchor Objects (Inline Graphics, text on a Path) just like InDesign for over a decade.

Put your request in. The more the merrier.

Some squeaky wheels get oiled, some not.

Ton, I have requested many times. Been there, Done that.

    Adobe's Deaf ears.

Not even interested at this point with Adobe emails.

Thanks Monika. It's weird how Adobe Suite is more of a disparate collection of software than a suite. This feature exists in InDesign.

Yes, but that's the idea of a suite: they complement each other and not copy each other.

But apart from that: this feature would totally make sense in Illustrator.
