"Export to PNG" right-click menu?

Hey guys!

This is an odd one.

I had Illustrator CC 2015 on my laptop and was able to select an object on an artboard, right click said object and click "export as PNG" and it would allow me save just that object as a transparent PNG and I was able to set the DPI.

However, my HDD went kaput and so I had to get a new one and re-install everything and now that option is nowhere to be seen. It was such a timesaver but I can't remember if it was built into Illustrator or if it was a sort of plugin.

Can someone help me before I tear my hair out, please?

Thank you.

Correct answer Doug A Roberts

CC 2015.

more exact? 2015.2, .3, etc.?

the asset export panel seems to have been introduced with 2015.3.

Ah, that might be it, but I can't see that in my dialogue menus.

Hi Anni,

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of what shows up when you select an object and right click in your Illustrator? I believe you should get the options shared above by dougofakkad and the next screen would give you the options you are talking about. I would also suggest you to check the new export options for Illustrator here: Illustrator CC new features | New Export Assets panel
