Waht happens when you try to use the program? Any error messages? "Didn't work" is not enough information to help you.

several users recently reported issues with 2021 and 2022 on both platforms.
if you're on Mac running InDesign 17.4.2, then reverting to 17.4 may help (you can do this from Creative Cloud app):
don't know anything about other cases.

Please provide details as to what version of InDesign and what operating system that you are using. Also please let us know if you have recently done any upgrading to the program or the OS. If you are using InDesign version 18.5 with Mac OS Ventura then make sure the Ventura is updated to the most recent version of 13.6.

In another forum I read that it seems to be a problem with Adobe licencing servers. A workaround is to disable your internet connection, then ID starts, Then you can reconnect to the internet.
