Access Denied trying to get to CS6 InDesign online turtorial

I have CS 6 and when I attempt to open the CS 6 InDesign online (InDesign CS6 tutorials ) tutorial I get the following message

Access Denied

You don't have permission to access "http://helpx.stage.adobe.com/indesign/atv/cs6-tutorial.html" on this server.

Reference #18.5cf78343.1540833908.b105480

So far I have

1. Made sure I am logged into Adobe and that CS6 is listed as one of my registered products

2. Updated Adobe Air (suggested in one thread I found)

3. Logged out after updating Air and then logged back in.

4. I searched for but was not able to find the %appdata%/chc.4875E02D9FB21EE389F73B8D1702B320485DF8CE.1 as was suggested in another thread.

Any ideas of what I need to do will be greatly appreciated.

Yup, me too. I'm guessing content has been removed or moved. CS6 is pretty old at this point, so they may be moving on from supporting it.

From the Indesign CS6 tutorials link, which presentation are you clicking on? I clicked 4 and got the videos.

The page I see has the following

Adobe Indesign CS6 Tutorials

What is InDesign CS6

10 Things Beginners Want to Know How to Do in InDesign

Learn InDesign CS6 Video Tutorials

Create New Documents

..... several other links

When I click on the link for What is InDesign CS6 it works just fine

When I click on the link for 10 Things Beginners Want To Know How to Do in InDesign  the link works fine

It is when I click on the link for Learn InDesign CS6 Video Tutorials that gives me the Access Denied screen

Ouch!!, but you are probably right.

It is what I have and I still use many of its programs extensively.  I am disabled and on a fixed income so I can't afford to upgrade.  I have been in the computer industry (software development mostly) for over 40 years and I just do not like the idea of using cloud based programs.

You can see if there are tutorials still available on Lynda.com. If you're looking to learn CS6, that route may be more affordable than a CC subscription.

The applications are not cloud based. They are installed locally as they always have been. It's all of the additional services that are cloud based.

What do you mean by "additional services"?. What is local and what is online? That is, can I just use the programs like Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, Flash, Fireworks, ... as I am now with my current CS6? I still do a bit of development now and then, mostly web applications, and I like keeping everything local until I am ready to bring everything up at once.

Hi Jerry,

additional services are Creative Cloud Libraries, Publish Online and the Simple Saveback Service.
And of course Typekit now rebranded to Adobe Fonts. You may also add DPS, in the lastest releases only available as very costly AEM ( Adobe Experience Manager ) See what Adobe Experience Manager can do | Adobe Experience Manager

Regards,
Uwe
