Active fonts not showing up in indesign

A few weeks ago I designed a layout in InDesign using various weights of the font Nobel. Now when I open the file, two weights, light and regular the two I am using are not showing up but the other weights are fine. The entire font family is showing as activated in Creative Cloud. I reinstalled Creative cloud and InDesign and restarted computer to no avail. Anyone experience this and able to resolve?

Hi @Seema5C8A, it is a known issue and the concerned team is working on it. For further updates, please refer to this link:-

I'd try a couple of troubleshooting tasks first before I continued:

    1. Open a new document. Type a line of text. I use "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog." Because it includes every letter of the English alphabet. Get your Black Arrow/Selection tool, copy and paste it across all the font weights you want to check. Apply every weight you can for your Nobel font. It doesn't happen often, but sometimes it's not access to a specific font weight, but your system recognizing every font weight. Sometimes you'll find the weight you're looking for, but it's mislabeled by the font house and/or your system install.

    2. Check your fonts. Especially if you use a font manager. You may have the font, but your font manager doesn't recognize you do. Even if it did before. Re-incorporating the font weight in the font manager can bring back use of your "missing" font weights.

Let us know if this helps, or if it didn't. These are the most likely places you may find your misplaced — but not lost — font. But not the only ones. If this doesn't help, it may give us some insight on what your specific problem is.

But I hope it does help you.
