Adding comments to a review document as designer

Hello everyone, I'm wondering if it's possible that I can myself add comments on a document I'm working on and will share for review - using the Review function in InDesign.

As soon as I share the document to my client, he is able to add comments. I like to do that myself also. So I can explain certain changes and descionsions made. But it seems not possible. Any suggestions? Thx!

Hi @w_vanderzee,

Yes, you can add comments as a designer! After generating the Share for Review link:

1. Open the link in your browser.
2. Use the commenting tools available there to add your own comments and explanations.

This should work perfectly for your needs. Let me know if you have any trouble!
