I am receiving this error when trying to install a swatch:
"duplicate swatch name already exists in the document. swatch is not added."
My swatch window is empty. I have an ".ai" logo that was placed in the document that has the Pantone 485-C that I need to use as a color...

Have you tried running »Add Unnamed Colors« yet?

Hi Roman,
your Swatches panel must not be empty. Something's wrong!
Does this happen with every document you add or open?
If yes, quit InDesign and trash InDesign preferences and/or cache folders.
If that will not help uninstall InDesign and install it again.

Check the Swatch View pull-down menu (accessed through the "checkerboard" icon in the bottom center of the Swatches Panel). Select "Show All Swatches" or "Show Color Swatches". If you had "Show Color Groups" selected without actually having any then your Swatches Panel would show as empty.
