Hi,

I have VNI Windows to type in Vietnamese. The question is:

Why I can type in Vietnamese using my VNI fonts in Adobe CC AI and PS. But can't in Indesign?

Please help. I can't do any Vietnamese Project for Vietnamese people if I can't not type in Vietnamese in Adobe CC Indesign.

Thanks in advanced.

I'm no expert in this area, but my best bet is that this related to the font you are using?

Try using a font like Source Sans Pro, Minion Pro, or Myriad Pro, these contain extended character sets that do support the Vietnamese characters.

Hi Cari,

With the VNI fonts window and keys, it have a lot of decorative fonts. All the VNI decorative fonts I am using to design my work, I can do that in Adobe CC AI and PS, but I can't type in Indesign. That is the only solution of why I can't use in Adobe CC Indesign, but can on the others??

Hi ngoc-land,

Here's a helpful forum thread that you can check: Using Vietnamese language with InDesign?
