Okan

Did you try putting your font in a sub-folder under the InDesign document folder and did you name this folder "Document fonts"?

How can I do this? What is the correct path to the folder?
The Problem is not on my Computer, I am just supporting the person with the problem, so I would be very grateful.

Hi,
create a folder named Document fonts and move it to the folder where the InDesign document is.
Move the font file to that Document fonts folder. Close and open your InDesign document. The document should now be able to see the font file.

Uwe

To make sure all is well and the InDesign document has a chance to see the font the document must be saved at least once. A new document that is not saved cannot see into the Document fonts folder unless it is saved to the folder where the Document fonts folder lies. And even if it is saved to that location make sure to close it and reopen it before testing if the font in Document fonts folder is available.
The same goes with IDML exchange documents you will perhaps open and later save as InDesign documents. Even if an IDML file is opened from the location where the Document fonts folder lies first save it as document, then close and reopen it before testing if the font is available to the document.

Uwe

Just want to point out that if you follow Uwe's excellent advice you will have to make sure that the Document Fonts folder you create remains in a folder with the InDesign document. If you move the InDesign file without keeping the Document Fonts folder with it then the InDesign file will no longer see the fonts.

Hi,
when you open the document and InDesign did find the fonts in the document fonts folder, the fonts will be shown in a documents only part of the fonts full down menu. Sorry, it's the french InDesign version, but it looks the same in the english version.

Hi again,
like that the folder will look:

The document fonts folder is in the same folder as the InDesign document, using these font, here it is magazine_start. Otherwise InDesign will not find the fonts.
