Hi Everyone,
I was looking to try out indesign cs4 for my company but I can't find it( the trial) on the adobe website. I think they have removed it because cs5 is coming out. I have looked all over for it but nothing. Does any one have it or know where I can get it. I would just contact adobe but I am sure they will tell me I have to wait for the cs5 trial. If I like it I do plan on buying CS5 but I need something now, Othweise I have to find another product like indesign, Anything would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance

Hi. I am also desperately in need of Indesign CS4 trial or to temporarily borrow if anyone has it? The Technolux link has disappeared. It seems there is still a fairly big requirement for CS4?

Okay, thank you. Do you know what kind of software is necessary to download
that? My computer says that it does not have a program to run it.

I'm having trouble installing the trial version of InCopy CS4. I found it at the blog site mentioned in a previous post here (link-removed-by-forum-host). I downloaded 3 files total, named ADBEAICYCS4_LS1.exe (1200 kb), ADBEAICYCS4_LS4.7z (491,295 kb) and AICYCS4_Cont_LS1.exe (137,322 kb). When I choose Run from the Start menu to run the ...LS1.exe, I get the message that a file is missing, although all 3 files are sitting in the same folder. According to the instructions here (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/837/cpsid_83773.html?PID=2159997) there would be a file with "part" in it if the files I need hadn't fully downloaded, but there isn't. Thanks in advance for any help.

Dov, does this also apply to the web page that offers links that redirect to trials.adobe.com but provide access to older trial versions? (Since the link is removed above, it's hard to know what it points to. I'm not going to name the site here in case that is problematic, but it has been helpful to point people to in the past and I had previously assumed it was consistent with Adobe's policies, though perhaps exploiting an unintended configuration.)

We have no issue with links to Adobe's own web sites and servers. The deleted links were to sites that were serving up their own copies of software.
