Hi there, we have started using this feature to upload files for a client. After starting we have however realised that to keep the same URL the upload needs to be done by the same user account. This is causing us real issues. Ideally we would like to be able to upload using the same URL when documents are updated from different users. We do have a work enterprise account. I thought I read something that published documents can be transferred to a global business account and then users can have the local account and business account (2 Accounts) on there machines and could upload amended documents using the business account and keep the same URL?
Is there any way for multiple users to upload publish documents online and keep the same URL?
Many thanks

Hi @mjf083 ,
a publish online document is tied to a specific Adobe ID. That did not change in the course of the years.
There are a lot of feature requests to change this at InDesign User Voice. Go there, log in and vote for it:

Here one request from 2018:
Team memberships: Have a central place for all publications to be published online accessible for all to edit/get stats.

"Team memberships: Have a central place for all publications to be published online accessible for all members to edit/get stats. When members leave an organisation and you delete their membership, you can't go back and access the publications they published online."

Thanks for getting back to me, so there is no way of transferring the docs through Adobe Cloud or something similar so other users can edit and upload to the same URL?
This is on one Adobe page, the last bullet point seems to indicate about movings assets, would this include documents from the Publish Online Dashboard?
Storage is a core component of Adobe's cloud offering. Cloud storage ensures that you can always access your content and related services. It allows you to manage your Creative Cloud assets and Document Cloud assets. With the Creative Cloud assets, you can even enable collaboration and sharing among users. Creative Cloud also helps you sync your content to your desktop. All content created or uploaded by you is tied to your account.
Often, users may be required to move assets:
If you have assets linked to an existing account or profile, you can migrate these assets from one account or profile to another. The migration can either be done automatically or manually.

Storage is a different issue. The InDesign documents can be easily transferred but there is no way for multiple individuals to upload to the same Publish Online URL.

I'm not a big fan of it anyway so I'm not necessarily the right person to ask. You can always file a feature request but I wouldn't hold out too much hope. Adobe InDesign: Feature Requests: Top (4788 ideas) – Adobe InDesign (uservoice.com)
