After the odd pages become even pages, the full background will be misaligned

Guide ,

A page with a full background, when it is on an odd page, such as page 3, just fits the page. When the third page becomes the second page (such as deleting the second page), the full background will be misaligned and moved 3 mm to the right. If I have hundreds of pages of documents, it will be very troublesome to operate. How to solve it? Thank you ~

You can create a file and try it yourself.

Therefore, I will not upload files.

That’s normal behavior. When the page is on the right the X position of the left edge of the blue frame is 0". When you move the page to the left of the spine the X position remains as 0", but the X position of the frame would have to be at -.125" in order to be included in the bleed.

Here I have my rulers set to per page:

Hello, I still don't fully understand what you mean.
I want to ask, is there a place to set up, and then delete the page, can ensure that the full page background page is always inside the page, whether on odd or even pages will not be misplaced.

Is there an animated demo, or a more concise screenshot.

Refers to hundreds of pages, you don't need to manually move each page

thank you very much.

Hi 喜狼_edny,

there are several strategies to work around this issue.

I think, the best one is to use anchored frames where the anchor position is related to the spine.

1. Yellow rectangle anchored to text frame on the page:

2. Anchor position relative to spine ( away from spine ) and the edge of the page:

3. One page added after page 1:

It doesn't mean that, you are complicated. And your picture is too small.

My screenshots are too small? Hm. That's the new forum software.

Try to right-click a screenshot and show it in its own tab with your browser.

If that does not help check my InDesign 2020 document:

If you see an easier way to automate the position away from spine in a facing pages document I'm all ears.
