Align Errors

Why does the align function move the frames into an array instead of spacing correctly. I

I am attempting to space a grid and the function creates the grid as follows, (see attached photos)

Once spacing is activated it becomes like this:

For this you want to first disrtibute the spacing one row at a time (and frankly you really only need one row since you can use step and reopeat to creat the others, or even better, just one frame in the upper left and use step and repeat to create the entire grid from that).

Group each row, then select the grouped rows and use the align function.

And
