Hi there,

I'm trying to align on the same line some part of my text to the left and some part of my text to the right.

I've tried using Tabs but couldn't seem to be able to set them up properly.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Between the text on the left and the text on the right insert a special character—a right indent tab.

Choose it from Type > Insert Special Character > Other > Right Indent Tab

Ancient thread, and a correct answer long ago, but it's worth pointing out that a similar effect can be gotten in justified text using a "flush space" — known more sensibly as a "spring tab" or the like in most other apps.

That paragraph is fully justified so the last line doesn't wrap left or right.

It's useful whenever you have several words or short terms you want to "spring" across a line without manual adjustments.

It's in the Type | Insert White Space menu, or is ~f in search or GREP. (I find this useful character/tab/feature overly hidden and thus overlooked in ID.)
