Question

All new text boxes have frame around them despite setting stroke to "0"

Hey all-- in indesign, all of my new textboxes appear with a thin black frame around them, and I can't get it to go away for the life of me.

- stroke is set to "0" and "none"

- object styles set to "none"

- no effects applied

Help! Thanks

Hi @jeanj67340383:

Even easier, if you have the Control panel visible (Window > Control panel) just select the text and uncheck Border in Paragraph view. Note that it may be on as a default so it if keeps coming back, choose Edit > Deselect All and disable it one more time.

@James Gifford—NitroPress@jmlevy is showing us the Control Panel menu—far right of the Control panel. Click the Hamberger button.

Ah, thanks, @Barb Binder. I guess I've never noticed that the hamburger menu on that is mode-sensitive, and have never clicked on it in text mode. 😛

It looks you have enabled the paragraph border by default
