Hi I am having a few issues where my colours go wrong in Indesign.

When I change a box the colour changes (notable the hue of red shifts), if i then open a new document and return back its goes adjust again or press W to change the screen view it comes back. When I output as a PDF there are no issues.

In Photoshop when working an image rectangles appear over the image.

Here are a couple of screen recordings

InDesign

Photoshop

Imac Retina 5K 27 late 2015,

4.0Ghz i7

32GB Ram

AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4096mb

(one screen connect and 2 happens in both and in various resolutions)

What have I done so far both are now on the latest versions of Photoshop and Indesign,

They have been reinstalled to reset the settings etc.

I have contacted apple support as to me it looks like a graphic card issue. They said to reset SMC and NVRAM, they have been done.

They did recommend updating to Sierra but that I am reluctant to do as I have other software that relies on 10.11.6

After trialling those mentioned above they said to ask adobe, I thought i'd bring it to the forums to get advice.

Actually, you are much out of date. The latest appears to be 10.12.5. But I am not recommending that you upgrade to Sierra, this seems to bring a lot more problems than solutions.

Reluctantly its not happening in Sierra. At least on initial tests. Previously it was an issue that got progressively worse.

Although a good thing as it may not be hardware issue. However I still need to stay on El Capitan. What I shall try and do is go back to the initial versions of OS X 10.11 and then upgrade till it happens. Or it could all be part of a clean install.
