Auto Activation of Adobe Fonts on Mac Studio

I activated a family of Adobe Fonts, but they will not auto-activate in my InDesign project.  "Auto-Active Adobe Fonts" is checked in the File Handling menu.

I'm sorry to hear that the Adobe Fonts are not auto-activating in your InDesign project. In addition to rob suggestion, here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  • Restart Creative Cloud App and Services:

    • Open Task Manager (Windows) or Activity Monitor (Mac).
    • Find and restart the Creative Cloud app and related services.
  • Reinstall Creative Cloud Desktop App:

    • If restarting doesn't help, try reinstalling the Creative Cloud desktop app. This can often resolve syncing issues.
  • Log Out and Log Back In:

    • Sometimes, logging out and logging back into your Creative Cloud account can force start the sync process.

 

Please try these steps and let me know if the issue is resolved or if you need further assistance.

Hi @LindaT01 , What is the full name of the font you are trying to activate? Are you activating from the fonts.adobe.com site? There can be a delay when you click Add for a font or font family.
