I have a few documents set up as templates which contain marks and information for our print finishers to complete our prints and displays.

These are vector shapes, text boxes and image placement boxes sized to the bleed or slug.

In indesign 13.1.1 we could open the template doc. go to document setup, change the size to whatever required and the template marks would fit to the new document size (no scaling of text or strokes)

Indesign 14.0.2 has introduced the auto adjust layout feature which has killed my templates

Does anyone know of a way to get indesign 14 to behave in a legacy way. We are printers so have no use for the function.

Alternatively, is there a new way to achieve what was previously done?

Unfortunately, the old layout adjustment has been replaced with the adjust layout feature. Have you tried adding guides where your marks appear to see if that will cause layout adjustment to move them accordingly?
