auto text in indesign

microsoft word has an option where if i set a code or word or abbr for a specific sentence 

that sentence is typed automatically and i do not have to type it again or copy paste it

is there any option for text in indesign which i am unaware of?

I've moved your post from Creative Cloud Desktop to InDesign.

Does AutoCorrect work for you? 

Preferences > Autocorrect > Enable

Enable the autocorrect feature in the preferences and add the “code” and the actual text you need.
