Good morning,

I would need a plugin for inDesign that would allow me to automatically paginate books from an xml that comes out of another page layout software. 

Can anyone suggest something?

I don't think you would get an off the shelf solution for this unless your XML is in some standard format. If you are willing to look for paid solutions then let us know, many of us could look into it and suggest you on how to move ahead. Maybe a script could suffice your needs instead of a plugin. All this can be finalized after a detailed study of requirements.
