Background colour on typing

Using Indesign. I need to get rid of this background colour- Ive replace font still there- its the white boxy look Im wanting to get rid of it. (and just have text in pic) . Ive been searching for Days trying to fiqure it out. This is my 2nd post on here asking. Thanks.

You might have a white paragraph rule Above or Below applied. Open your paragraph style and check Paragraph Rules.

I have gone through paragraph styles and deleted a few to see if that does it - change to basic paragraph?
