Batch Convert Colors with Scripting

Question

I'm fairly new to scripting, I used the batch convert from creativepro to help me and I need to find/replace all colors in over 200+ documents from spot and rgb to cmyk. I'm not sure how to write this, any and all help would sincerely be appreciated!

Hi @kittycolombo , Unless a spot color is linked to a placed file, you don’t need a script. Select all of the colors you want to change in the Swatches panel, double-click and make the desired changes in the Swatch Options dialog:

If a Spot is linked to a placed file you can‘t edit it via the options dialog or a script without removing the linked file first.
