Blank Start Workspace in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign 2017 not starting

There is a annoying behaviour on Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Apps on Windows 10 1703 Build 15063.632.

In Photoshop after start the Start Workspace (Essentials) keeps blank:

On a different User it works as expected

In Ai the same issue with blank start Workspace:

Starting InDesign CC 2017 isn't possiblue due to error in Module PlugPlugOwl.dll

Resetting Preferences, uninstalling all Adobe Creative Cloud Apps and reinstall even with uninstalled AntiVirus wasn't successful.

Also Installing InDesign CC 2015 was not successful. After Launch the 'Touch Instructions' were shown and after finising them Id 2015 stops working.

On the other User account InDesign works as expected.

How is it possible to clean the System registry or Change Settings and/or files to get the Apps working fine on the dedicated User?

Thanks

Hello

After going the Long road deleting the Windows Profile and creating a total new one I can Report all Adobe Applications are running as expected. I could not figure out what caused the exception even all other applications, Tools and Stuff worked properly.

For now I can tell, even it's tough to reconfigure all Settings, it works to get Adobe CC Apps working,

Hi markusw,

As per your query, start workspace is not showing up in any of the applications. Also, you mentioned that it is working fine on different user account. Have you tested it on the same system on different user account?

If yes, that means applications are responding fine on the system but not on user account you are using. In that case please make sure that your user account has admin rights(Read and Write) below-mentioned folders

  • C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Adobe
  • C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Adobe
  • C:\Program Files (x86)
  • C:\Program Files
  • C:\Program Data

If you are on user profile your IT team will be able to share permissions.

Regards

Srishti

Hi Srishti

Thank you for your advice. I've already checked permissions and user is local Administrator. This seams not the reason for the issue.

After Installing the new 2018 Releases, I can report Ps, Ai are running as expected now. Id still crashes during Startup all time.

Meanwhile Windows 10 1709 is in use, with Folder redirection and OfflineFiles.
