Blurb Book Creator plugin not launching after InDesign update

Blurb Book Creator not launching after InDesign update. Tried versions 15/16.01/16.1

 

Nothing.

 

InDesign says Blurb needs an update, but after that is completed, nothing happens. It worked 2 days ago.

Very annoying.

I am having the same issue.  InDesign was closed when I was trying to install Blurb plug in.  I have Indesign 2022 and the OS is Windows 10 Pro


The Blurb plug-in is currently not compatible with InDesign 2022, Blurb say they are working on it. In the meantime consider reverting to InDesign 2021.

I'm having problems with the Blurb Installer for InDesign as well. I've been having numerous problems with their uploading too. As far as tech response emails/calling ZIP! I'm wonmdering if they still exist.

I just downloaded the Blurb ID Creator Plugin successfully.

(OS 10.15.7 InDesign 16.1)

You have to ensure that InDesign is closed when you install the app and select the correct version of InDesign from the drop-down menu.

You'll find the Blurb Creator link at the end of the InDesign File dropdown menu.
