Hey so when i had an images (jpeg, tiff...) into my document indesign the quality is first really good but then when i reopen the page a bit later the image is blured. I alredy checked the other discussions to find some solutions : i have the highest quality selected in the preferences ; and I know that there might be something with the dpi, so i saved all of my images in 300 dpi and added them back to the document. Same problem. I don't know what else to do. So if you have any advices that would be so nice 🙂
Thank you

Resaving your images was pointless you should revert as soon as possible.
i wrote an article here to explain a few things
https://creativepro.com/high-res-image-look-low-res/
But sounds like it could be a memory issue - how much RAM do you have?

thank you, I had read your article and thought i needed to resave my pictures with 300 ppi, but i guess i didn't understand.
How can i find information about the RAM?

No you don't need to save image as 300 PPI. They just need to be approx that effective .
Don't worry how they look in InDesign... as long as the effective resolution is high enough.

Check through View>Display Performance to see if your file is in Typical or High Quality Display. If it is saying "Typical" change it to "High Quality" and see if that makes a difference. If you had your program display preference set to High Quality and perhaps had to trash preferences between times opening this document then the program would have reverted back to Typical and the images would not have been as sharp.
