Booklet Bleeds in Indesign

New Here ,
Mar 06, 2018 Mar 06, 2018

I'm trying to create a booklet in which the first page has an image that goes all the way to the border (and therefore requires bleeds), and the last page does not. Given the fact that this is a booklet, both of these pages are on the same sheet. How do I set up the bleeds? Should they just go around the edge of the page, and not the inside?

I'm attaching a photo of what I assume is the correct way to go about it for page 1.

Thanks in advance!

Hi ac28784841 ,

restrict the area of your image on page 1 to the spine.

Do bleed with your image for all other edges.

One question remains: Should the bleed area be the same all around all edges?
That one should be answered by your printers.

Regards,
Uwe
