Booklet Printing Problems with InDesign CC 2018

I have created a 16 page document (booklet) with the pages being half-letter size.  When I go through the "Print Booklet" steps it only prints half the spreads and it is cropping the images at the top and bottom of each page.  I am sending the document to a XEROX D-95 printer at our in-house print shop that is outfitted with a booklet maker finisher.   This template printed perfectly fine last year when I was using Windows XP but I have since upgraded to Windows 10.  Suggestions?

Export a proper PDF and use the booklet feature in Acrobat.

Tried that and I I think I'm getting closer but I cannot get the document to print in a 1/2 letter format....it seems to only print the spreads in a landscape position on the page so I end up with it printing the pages in quarter sheets instead of the 1/2 letter sheets.  I need the content to be rotated 90-degrees so only one of those two images occupies the portrait position of a page.

Make sure that you are not using the booklet presets on your Xerox AND InDesign. Otherwise you are transforming it twice. Sometimes I print my document to a pdf and then use the printer's booklet features if I have problems as well.

I saved as a PDF and using the Adobe Booklet feature and getting much closer but for whatever reason is wants to print ONLY the first page as a thumbnail size and backwards. (see image below)  All the rest of the pages are fine and in the right order.  Thoughts?
