I've noticed this in InDesign 19, but also in 18 too.
Sometimes when I duplicate a page, the objects on the duplicated page have been moved and/or resized, simply as a result of duplicating the page. See below - original above, duplicate below.
In the duplicate, everything below "Chief" has moved up by different amounts, and the "Recruitment" text frame has shrunk, causing overset text.

Duplicate
Repeating this operation on the original creates the same result.
It seems from Adobe Bug reporting that this was happening back in Indesign v15 too!

I don't believe that has ever happened to me. Please provide more informaiton about your system: Please tell us what operating system (exactly) you're running. Please tell us (exactly) what InDesign version you're using.
Does this just happen with one file or with all files?
If only one file, there may be corruption. Sometimes it can be fixed by saving the files as IDML: File > Save As > InDesign CS4 or Later [IDML]. Reop[en the IDML file in InDesign to see if it's fixed.
If it's happening in all your files you should try restoring your InDesign preferences and caches. Here's how:

Hi
Thanks for your reply. It happens intermittently, and I've seen it before, but not with all projects.
It's clearly a known issue, as far back as ID 15, going by this thread here: https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601180-adobe-indesign-bugs/suggestions/39497992-duplicating-pa... ... the fix suggested of unticking "Adjust Layout" in "Layout | Margins and Columns" does seem to fix the problem, so it seems to be a problem relating to that.
When toggling Adjust Layout back on, the problem reappears.
Windows 10.0.19045
Indesign 19.1
Thanks
Richard
