Question

Buttons and Forms - Have a button change color when a text field is filled (and stay that color)

Hi,

I'm working with InDesign and Acrobat Reader on a project that highlights where a product is stored, in PDF form. When i write the product number in the text field button on the left, the place where the product is stored highlights in red. The problem i have is when i leave the text field button, the highlighted location goes back to green.

When there is text in the text field, i want the location to stay in red to signal the space is occupied. And when the text field is empty, the space goes back to green to signal the space is available.

I used the actions in Acrobat Reader to show and hide fields but it only works when i'm clicking in the field. What am i missing?

I've put a version of the PDF in the attach files.

Thank you
