Can I hide layer box? It's very distracting.

Is there a way for me to eliminate the color layer color guide? I find it very distracting.

Thank you so much!! That did it! And you also answered my next question; How do I hide the bounding boxes? I have not worked on InDesign using Windows.... I have lots of experience using a Mac.

Do you mean frame edges? View > Extras > Hide Frame Edges
