Can I put the pages numbers in the front of stuff in indesign?

Hello, I already made the numeration to the pages in the master pages, however when I go to the normal pages the objects get on top, can that be changed? Currently using the latest InDesign (2025)

And technically - page numbers should sit outside the text margins/safe areas for text - why you have stuff overlapping means you might be able to tidy up your layout by restricting your designs to safe areas and let your page numbers sit outside the general design area.

Graphics going to the edge is a normal thing, especially in magazine layouts. Text, no. graphics, yes.
