I suggest doing your own research on this. This is not an InDesign subject or issue.

Find a good Joomla support group and get opinions and advice there.

You can embed it in a web site. You can't expect all of the interactivity to work (perhaps none will at all). Each web browser has a different PDF viewer, and they don't care about interactivity.

I do hope not. I am one of the many people who feel that flip books are the devil's work. Please reconsider the plan.

An application that shows the design well but takes you out to en external site.

The newsletter links are not opening in a different site. The link targets in the page code are "_blank", so the PDF <a> links open in a new browser window, but from the same domain—https://www.aviv-flower.co.il/.

I’m sure from the backend you would be able to set the target to "_self", which would open the PDF in the same browser window.

My advice, quite honestly, is to stop overthinking this and do it as a blog post combined with an email blast.

What about using Publish Online for the newsletter. It can then be easily embedded in a web site. Here are some examples of things you can do using InDesign and Publish Online: http://bit.ly/PubOnCollection
