Can't assign style sheet shortcuts with Wireless Keypad on Indesign CS6

I'm not able to assign shortcuts to my style sheets using my new Belkin Bluetooth® Wireless Keypad. I always get this message "Currently assigned to :[unassigned]" ? I dont understand what's going on...  I've tryed all combination : cmd + number... shift+number cmd+shift+number etc...

Style sheet shortcuts require the numeric keypad. You can add Control, Sh, Alt/Opt to the numbers on the keypad, but you can not use the numbers found at the top of the keyboard. The Mac wireless keypad does not have a numeric keypad.

For clarity, the poster has an after-market wireless keypad.

Exact. I have a wireless keybord + a wireless Keypad


But are you using the numbers from the numeric keypad section to the far right side of the keypad? These shortcuts will not work with the regular numbers above the letters on the keyboard.
