Can't find Background task panel

I would like to export a small file to PDF. It does not work. Can't quit Indesign therefore. Get a message that its busy in the background. So where do I find the background panel?

Hi, Windows menu, select utilities, top most item = background task

I opened the background task, however, I could not cancel one the tasks in the Que. It has been showing to cancel for the last 20min. What should I do now?

You will probably need to close the application.
