I just started using indesign in CS6, all went smooth, until the history panel is gone. I can't remember what I did, I might press something accidentally, but it is gone now. I tried to open window and look for history option, but its not there. what can I do to show the history panel again?
‌As Peter said, InDesign does not have a History panel; a third party plug in could have come from either DTPTools or 65bit, both have/had this kind of plug in.

In Design does not have a native History panel. I fyou ever had one, it was a third-party plugin.

My jaw is literally on the floor...the history panel is ALMOST as necessary as layers. What the hell is Adobe thinking?

It's even dumber because Illustrator and Premiere has it. I'm not sure if others like Photoshop, AE, etc., have it but still, why doesn't InDesign have something so simple?

Only the newest version of InDesign (2024/25). This topic was about older versions. Maybe we should lock this?
