Can't open InDesign pages that have been shared via CC when connected to Cloudflare WARP

We're unable to open InDesign pages that have been shared via Creative Cloud while we're connected to Cloudflare WARP. When we try to open the pages, Indesign will open, but nothing happens, no error messages or anything. We are able to place items from CC libraries from with ID while connected, and the pages open fine when not connected.

I've found the white list and sent it to IT, but in the meantime, is there anything else we should be looking at?

Hi @chri5j,

If everything works fine outside the company's network and without Cloudflare, it’s likely that the network setup with Cloudflare is affecting InDesign’s connection to Creative Cloud.

I would recommend checking with your Network Admins and the Cloudflare team to ensure all necessary Adobe URLs are whitelisted in your network settings. Ref:Network endpoints for Adobe apps & services

Once the whitelisting is done, let me know if the issue persists, we can further work on it.

Have you tried opening the files from local folders?

Not all VPN/cloud resources are transparently compatible with all apps.

Yes, pages work fine locally and when logged into the company server an opening a file from there. It's only when we share the files in CC that we can no longer open them. I've logged out of CC and back in and that didn't help.

Nothing more, or specific, I can add. The last few versions of ID have gotten more and more sensitive to network access times, though, so any delay through a network, cloud or VPN connection could be a factor here.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
