Can't scroll verticaly anymore

So I was using inDesign like usual, all I did was add 2 pages in the middle of my document and then my vertical scroll is unresponsive (I am on mac by the way) but I use the trackpad and also a mouse. Horizontal scrolling and zooming in and out is still working, I just can't scroll vertical anymore which is a huge hindrance. Does somebody have a quick solution because this seems very minor but it is effecting my workflow a lot. Please help!

Try resetting preferences - or System's/ InDesign's cache?

And if that fails, try a re-boot of your system.
