Can't use svgs from library in InDesign

Hi everyone,

since the last update InDesign tells me that it does not support svgs from my creative cloud library and therefore i can not place those svgs in my document.
Does anyone know why that is and what I can do about it?
Has anyone experienced similar issues?

Thanks in advance.

I ran into this today, which was frustrating, but I found out they do indeed work! It looks like you can't drag an SVG from the Library into your document, but you can "Place from CC Libraries":

Then you can select an SVG file from your Library (even though it looks like it's disabled), and then click Place in the bottom right of your Library panel. Voila!

I've created a keyboard shortcut for Place from CC Libraries to make it a slightly smoother process.

I'm having the same issue!
Non-Library SVGs work just fine, and the ones from the library still show up okay where they're placed in past documents... But CC Library SVGs say "This item is not supported in InDesign" when I hover over them.

Hopefully they fix this soon!

Hi Serena,

thank you so much for replying. Your problem sounds exactly like mine. Good to know I am not the only person.
