Cannot open Indesign file

Hello, I am having an issue opening an InDesign file pre-update, is there any way I can open it up? I keep getting this error message: (incase you cannot read it: This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default App Settings page.) It is a .indd file.

nevermind, I just had to force it open via InDesign itself by doing a file > open, apparently it doesnt work through Bridge. Please delete this, or keep it open for reference. whatever. lol

Hi

If it’s not working through Bridge, go into Preferences for Bridge and confirm that .indd is set to open InDesign documents in the version you are using.

Mac: Bridge > Application menu > Preferences

Win: Bridge > Help menu > Preferences
