I have been all over this forum and I can't find an answer to my specific question.
When creating board layouts with multiple images on each page (as in a 4 x 3 grid with 12 images and text boxes underneath), I need a streamlined way to add and delete images as the board layouts change. Meaning, if I delete one image, I want the next 24 image boxes to fall into place so I don't have to manually move each image up one frame.
The same would go for adding images. Is there an INSERT option that would do the same thing? As in, insert or duplicate an image box, all the while, moving the rest down throughout the pages, everything keeping the rest of the images intact.
Let me know if I need to explain this in more detail. I'm dying for a quick way to do this!
I put such content each in a frame and anchor them in to a text story. For each anchor I use its own paragraph (with its own style). I control the placement of those frames either with connected text frames or with a baseline grid or with both.

Hi Lyn:
Are you using Data Merge for all of these images? This post outlines a technique that uses data merge and a script to accomplish the task.

If you aren't using Data Merge you could still set this up with inline images as described in the same post.

This one seems a bit too over my head. I'm going to try the text stories! Thanks for your reply and I'm glad to learn about Data Merge.
