CC 2018 InDesign issues question

Every time I try and do a text wrap around a graphic, the program crashes.

Now, I cannot get font replacement in "find fonts" to work.

What is going on? This is exactly why I hate automatic forced updates.

I would try restoring your InDesign preferences and try again.

Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences

That helped with the "find fonts" replacement issue -- however, I went to do a text wrap and same thing - the program quit.

Can you reproduce the problem in another file. New file, place text, place graphic, try text wrap.

If only one file, might save as IDML.

It worked in a brand new document with new text & new graphic. I went to the existing file, created a rectangle, clicked on the text wrap, and same thing, it quit again. Will try saving it back to an IDML and re-opening it.

Hi Bonniet_scubadiva,

Thanks for reporting the issue.

I have tried replicating the issue by applying Text wrap around objects, but unable to reproduce the issue.

Can you please share with me exact steps to reproduce it with a InDesign document that would be great.

Also, Please submit the crash in Adobe Crash Reporter when you encounter it post any crash.

email: monsingh@adobe.com

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

Monica Singh
