CC Library palette vibrates/flickers

Community Beginner ,
Sep 02, 2025 Sep 02, 2025

For some reason my CC library palette is vibrating. The bottom of the palette with the clould icon and the lock icon are flickering, and the scrollbar 'thumb' is flickering too. The only reference I can find to this issue is at this link in UserVoice:

CC Libraries palette vibrates nonstop

Anyone else have this issue? Is there anything that works to fix it? I'm on ID 20.5 on a 2023 Mac Studio running Sequoia 15.6.1.

Thanks!

Maurice

Hi @maurice_3423,

Thanks for sharing the details. Since you’re on InDesign 20.5 on macOS Sequoia, could you try disabling GPU Performance once from Preferences > Performance and check if the behavior changes? Also, let me know if this happens only with the CC Libraries panel or if you notice similar flickering in other panels as well. If possible, a short screen recording would really help.

Looking forward to hearing how it goes.

Abhishek

Thanks for the reply Abhishek, sorry for my delayed response. I tried disabling GPU Performance and it made no difference. Also, it's definitely only in the CC Libraries panel. Screen recording attached.

Thank you for sharing the screen recording of the issue. Does that happen with other Adobe apps? Would you mind signing out of the Creative Cloud Desktop app, restarting the machine, and signing back in?

If that doesn't help, please try the steps below:

  • Close all Adobe applications
  • Remove the Creative Cloud Desktop application, CCLibrary, and CoreSync using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool ( https://adobe.ly/4mkYJCc)
  • Reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application ( https://adobe.ly/43fQrCS)
  • Relaunch InDesign

You may also try running InDesign under Safe Mode on macOS and share your observation.

We will try our best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika
