CEP support for Indesign

The official documentation for CEP 11 indicates it is supported in InDesign versions 13-17. But I have tried an extension built with CEP 11 on Indesign 18 and 19, it's working as expected and I am yet to face an issue.

does this mean Indesign 19 supports CEP 11 for adding extensions?
Is there official documentation that explains the roadmap of CEP for Indesign?

If CEP is officially not approved for Indesign 19, is UXP approved?

I asked, and the response from Engineering was:

We have not yet released CEP 12. Therefore, until an announcement is made regarding the integration of CEP 12 in InDesign, you can assume that all versions of InDesign 13 and above support CEP 11.

I had pointed to the wrong github page in the original question, here is the right one, which states the support is from 14-16.3.

but anyways, from your response its clear that CEP 11 is supported in Indesign 19 and interesting thing that your engineering team mentioned is that "CEP 12 not yet released", does that mean CEP 12 is something they are working on?
CEP is not going to be deprecated?

can you please help me with above questions as well? this will help planning my extension's LTS

CEP might be discontinued at some point for InDesign as has been done already for PS but as per the discussions I have followed it would be communicated well in advance so that people can plan for it. As off now it should be safe to release on CEP. UXP is the next thing to arrive, in my opinion it is not at a point that every CEP thing can reliably be ported to UXP but it is getting there
