Is it possible to change the background color of interactive text fields?

When you create a button, the text background is blue by default. But I would like to have it transparent

Can someone help me?

Confirming what @BobLevine said.

The form's background color is controlled by the end user in their preferences.

In our shop, we don't change the defaults: it's a waste of time because we never can really control it.

That is a function of the PDF reader application. While I suspect you can hack it for Acrobat (visit the forum and ask there), the likelihood of getting it to work for other readers is practically zero.

In any event...this is not an InDesign issue and cannot be changed with InDesign.
