change “Quotation Marks" to German or Danish. !

I'm working on a book. And I've got all the material in a Word file.
And I've made 150 pages.
- but now I find out that the Quotation Marks are in English Quotation Marks.
But they shouldn't be inEnglish Quotation Marks.! - they should be German or Danish. - so that the apostrophes start at the bottom og the line and end at the upper
- see example here:
these are in English:  “Quotation Marks in English”
these are in Danish:  „Quotation Marks in German or Danish” - and I want the whole book with Danish „Quotation Marks"!

How can I change this with just one click?
I've watched this video: https://youtu.be/VEObBdR4qgI?si=qK0rwJgNn0jaqm3b , - But it didn't help at all.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you very much!

  1. Go to preferences > Dictionary and set up for all Ferman flairs you use and Danish the quotation marks you need.
  2. In preferences > Type > Type options > turn on typographical quotation marks.
  3. In the paragraph styles set up the language you use. It will pick up the quotation mark you set up for the language.
  4. Take care that you do not use a character style with wrong language settings.

Have you assigned the proper language in the paragraph styles? Are you seeing the problem in InDesign or Word? Did you properly place the Word document into InDesign?
